First and Stagecoach have been awarded the contracts to run "heritage" routes H9 and H15 using Routemasters. These are truncated versions of routes 9 and 15 and do not show H on the destination blinds. Unfortunately on the day of visit there was no mention of the heritage service on any of the bus stops on the routes concerned. The Stagecoach vehicles (inlcuding their preserved RML SMK760F) were generally better turned out than the First ones. Loadings were fair, let's hope the service lasts.
